usage policy

Use the loom well.

Effective 2026-07-07 · part of the Terms of Service

PostWeavers exists to help real people write better replies in their own voice. This policy draws the lines. Break them and we may limit or close your access to Cloud. And if what you're doing breaks X's rules, X will have its own opinions.

The golden rule

A human reviews and publishes everything. PostWeavers drafts; you post. Any attempt to turn PostWeavers into an automation pipeline (scripting the extension, replaying its network calls, feeding drafts into a bot that posts them) is a violation of this policy, X's platform rules, and the spirit of the whole product.

Don't use PostWeavers to…

  • Spam or manipulate platforms. No bulk unsolicited replies or mentions, no coordinated posting across accounts, no engagement farming schemes, no posting substantially identical content at scale, no evading X rate limits or enforcement.
  • Deceive. No impersonating real people or organizations, no undisclosed paid shilling, no astroturfing, no generating fake reviews or manufactured "grassroots" campaigns.
  • Harm people. No harassment, threats, or targeted abuse; no hate on the basis of protected characteristics; no sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance, reported where required by law); no doxxing or invading privacy.
  • Spread dangerous or unlawful content. No drafting content that facilitates violence, self-harm, illegal weapons or drugs trafficking, fraud, phishing, or malware distribution; no deliberate large-scale disinformation campaigns.
  • Break the Service. No probing, scanning, or breaching our systems; no reverse-engineering the Cloud backend to extract keys or bypass quotas; no scraping our APIs; no reselling, sublicensing, or sharing Cloud access or accounts.
  • Violate others' rights. No infringing copyright, trademark, or publicity rights, including bulk-reproducing others' content as your own.

Model provider rules apply too

Drafts are generated by third-party AI models. In Cloud mode your prompts must also comply with Anthropic's Usage Policy; in bring-your-own-key mode, your chosen provider's policies (Anthropic or OpenAI) apply to you directly. If a provider blocks a request, that block is upstream of us.

Fair use of Cloud

Daily draft limits exist so one account can't degrade the service for everyone. Don't game quotas with multiple accounts, share one subscription across a team, or wire the endpoint into external tooling. If your legitimate use outgrows the limits, email us. We'd rather build you a bigger plan than play whack-a-mole.

Enforcement

We may warn, throttle, suspend, or terminate Cloud access for violations, with severity matched to the harm; illegal activity may be reported to authorities. The free bring-your-own-key extension runs locally, but these rules still govern your license to use it (Terms §8).

Reporting abuse

See someone abusing PostWeavers, or received spam you believe was drafted with it? Email hello@postweavers.com with links. We investigate every report.
